Terms and agreement

For standalone coaching, coaching bundles, and the Beyond the Mic course. Read these policies before accepting them at checkout.
Agreement and electronic acceptance
These terms cover Coach Illona’s standalone coaching, coaching bundles, and Beyond the Mic course. Before payment, actively accept these terms and the refund policy. Your order records the accepted policy version and acceptance time. For students under 18, a parent or legal guardian must purchase and accept on their behalf. Acceptance is not promotional consent.
Payment and enrollment
Full payment is required before enrollment and securing a lesson slot. A PayMongo return URL alone does not prove payment. Coaching covers only the sessions purchased, with a maximum of eight sessions in one package. Book a new package after completing the current one. Scheduling is arranged with Coach Illona and is subject to availability.
Prices and format
Online 1:1 is ₱2,200; face-to-face 1:1 is ₱2,500; the course is ₱2,499. Starter: one session + course, ₱3,999. Vocal Growth: four sessions + course, ₱7,999. Vocal Development: eight sessions + course, ₱14,999. Bundles allow online or face-to-face at the same bundle price. Saturday coaching adds ₱200 per session. No coaching is held on Sundays. Your selection, surcharge, and total are shown before payment.
Completion windows and grace periods
From confirmed payment, single sessions and Starter must be completed within 30 days, plus 14 days’ grace; Vocal Growth within 60 days, plus 14 days’ grace; Vocal Development within 120 days, plus 30 days’ grace. Makeup sessions must fit within this window, including grace. If the coach’s availability or a coach-requested reschedule prevents completion, the deadline will be extended by the affected period, confirmed in writing. These windows apply to coaching, not self-paced course access. Other extensions require written agreement; request one before the deadline.
Absences and makeup sessions
Single sessions and Starter allow one absence with makeup. Vocal Growth and Vocal Development allow two. For other arrangements, one to three sessions allow one makeup absence; five to seven allow two. Notify Coach Illona at least one day before the session. Without advance notice, the session is counted as used and no makeup is owed for that absence. Makeup scheduling depends on availability and must fit within the completion window and grace period. Absences beyond the allowance are not eligible for makeup.
Technical requirements
Online students need an iPad, laptop, or desktop computer and a working camera. A microphone is optional but recommended. You are responsible for your device, software, and internet connection. Interruptions outside the coach’s reasonable control do not automatically entitle you to replacement time or a refund. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
Scheduling and lateness
Schedules are fixed once confirmed. Changes need Coach Illona’s approval and an available slot; they are not guaranteed. Student lateness does not extend the original end time and missed time is not refunded. Extra lesson time requires availability and prior agreement to the applicable standard rate. If the coach is late, you will be notified; lost time will be made up by extending or rescheduling the affected portion by mutual agreement, without deducting it from your session.
Course access and YouTube
Course access follows confirmed payment and is personal. Lessons embed unlisted YouTube videos on the protected course page. Unlisted links are technically shareable and not DRM-protected. Content belongs to Coach Illona or its licensors; do not sell, republish, or claim ownership of it. Coaching completion deadlines do not end course access. Third-party services have separate terms and availability.
Confidentiality and recording consent
Both parties must keep confidential or sensitive lesson information private unless otherwise agreed. Promotional use of recordings, photos, testimonials, or identifiable content requires separate explicit permission, including parent or guardian consent for minors. Declining promotional consent does not affect enrollment or access. A learning submission is not permission to publish it.
Educational scope
You are responsible for practice, participation, attendance, and applying techniques. Results vary; no specific vocal outcome, skill level, or improvement timeframe is guaranteed. Coaching is education, not medical care. Practice gently and stop if you feel pain or persistent discomfort; seek qualified medical advice where needed.
Policy changes and contact
Future rates and policies may change. The version accepted for your purchase remains its record; changes affecting ongoing enrollment will be communicated in advance and agreed where required. Coaching sessions and bundles
Payments are non-refundable for change of mind once full payment has been made and your lesson slot has been secured. Missed sessions follow the attendance and makeup policy; an absence does not automatically qualify for a refund.
Self-paced course
Beyond the Mic purchases are generally final after course access is activated, except for remedies required by applicable law or a refund agreed by Coach Illona in writing. Contact Coach Illona before activation about a mistaken purchase; this does not guarantee cancellation.
Payment errors and service problems
Contact Coach Illona about duplicate or incorrect charges, missing access, or coaching that cannot be provided. These will be investigated against payment and delivery records. This policy does not waive remedies required under Philippine consumer law, including applicable remedies for defective or undelivered services.
Request a review
Email coachillona@gmail.com with your purchase email, order reference, payment date, and reason. Never send passwords, private access links, or full card details. Coach Illona will review the issue and explain the outcome. Approved refunds are arranged through the payment provider where possible; processing time depends on the provider and payment method.
