Singing runs in my family, and like most Filipinos, I've been doing it since I was little. But a few years back, I got overwhelmed with work and everything that happened before COVID. I literally forgot how to control my voice and carry a tune - something I used to do so naturally. I stopped singing completely and fell into depression. Coach Illona's voice lessons really helped me improve my singing skills! I was really shy when I first enrolled in Coach Illona's voice lessons. I sang, as if I was mumbling the words. When I got to know about the techniques that she taught me, I began improving, slowly but surely. She is gentle when pointing out my mistakes, and that is one of my favorite things about her! She is generous with sharing her techniques and she is thoughtful to her students, as well!
