Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Illona: Singing Coach mobile application operated by Coach Illona. It explains what information the app uses, where it is stored, and the choices available to you.

The app stores the information needed to personalize and track your practice locally on your device. This may include:

• Your practice goal, singing experience, preferred session duration, and weekly target.
• Your reference-pitch, reminder, and reduced-motion preferences.
• Daily voice check-ins, completed routines, session dates, reflections, streaks, and practice statistics.

This information is not sent to Coach Illona’s servers. The current version has no account system, backend database, or cloud synchronization.

The app asks for microphone permission only to provide the live pitch tuner. When the tuner is active, short audio samples are analyzed in memory on your device to estimate the note and pitch accuracy.

The app does not record, save, or upload raw microphone audio. Audio samples used for pitch detection are discarded as the tuner runs. You can deny or revoke microphone permission through your device settings; doing so disables the tuner but does not prevent you from using the app’s non-microphone features.

As of the effective date above, the app does not include advertising, behavioral tracking, third-party analytics, account registration, payments, or social sharing. Coach Illona does not receive your practice history, microphone audio, device contacts, photos, location, or health data through the app.

Local practice information remains on your device until you clear it or remove the app. You can use the app’s Settings screen to clear completed sessions and streaks or restart setup. Deleting the app and its data removes the remaining locally stored information, subject to your device’s backup and restore settings.

Because the current app does not create an account or store app data on Coach Illona’s servers, there is no server-side app profile to delete. If you believe you separately provided personal information to Coach Illona, email coachillona@gmail.com to ask about access or deletion.

Apple may process information related to downloading, installing, updating, purchasing, or diagnosing apps under Apple’s own policies and your device settings. That processing is controlled by Apple, not by Illona: Singing Coach. You can review Apple’s Privacy Policy for details.

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. Parents and guardians should supervise a child’s vocal practice and device permissions. If you believe personal information was provided to us outside the app by a child, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

Keeping app data on-device reduces transmission risk, but no device or storage method is completely secure. Protect your device with an appropriate passcode and current system software.

We may update this policy when the app’s features or data practices change. The revised policy will appear at this URL with a new effective date. Material changes will also be communicated in the app when appropriate.
